When I first joined Crossfit 201 back in 2015 I quickly learned that there is no such thing as out-training a bad diet. From that point on I made a lifestyle change by improving my eating habits and educating myself on nutrition. I first started my nutrition journey by following a simple diet template while learning the basics.
A few years back, Stacey introduced me to counting macros and this is where my curiosity for nutrition skyrocketed. I was not only interested in counting macros, along with short-term goals I had, but I was also interested in long-term health benefits and how certain foods effect our biological functions.
Since then I have turned my initial curiosity of nutrition into a passion of mine. I am excited to be able to use this passion to help people build a foundation, achieve their goals, and instill long-lasting habits that lead to a healthier lifestyle.
