Before I ever walked through the doors of CrossFit 201, my passion for health and fitness began as a kid playing ice hockey. I was fascinated with how strength training and eating right could have such a big impact on my performance on the ice. Since hockey is such a fast-paced, physical sport, I needed to balance proper training, nutrition and rest. As I got older and the opportunity to continue playing sports became smaller, I was still looking to be involved with strength training. I continued to work out and teach TRX classes, but decided to take a class at CrossFit 201 for a change of pace. The constantly varied workouts were exactly what I was looking for. As a coach at CrossFit 201, I look forward to helping others reach their own goals the same way the other coaches of 201 have helped me accomplish mine.
