Fitness has always been important to me. I’ve played a variety of sports and been involved over the years in activities including swimming, karate, rugby, cross-country running, mountaineering, MMA, weightlifting, football and mud/obstacle runs. I spent time in the British Army Reserve after leaving school and joined my local volunteer fire company upon moving to America.
Then in 2017 I found CrossFit.
It is a unique mix of competition and comradery, a rollercoaster of elation and frustration, to develop mental and physical strength and stamina. I originally took the Level 1 to become a better athlete myself, and the more I read and learned on the science and methodology behind it all, the more I found myself wanting to help and encourage others.
I’ve seen the benefit fitness has on working with and for your community and firmly believe ones’ health is a valuable asset for self, family and friends. I want to help people achieve their goals, push their limits and comfort levels to make them the best version of themselves that they can be.
